Pina Bausch Passes Away

This morning, the dance community lost one of its legends. Pina Bausch passed away at the age of 68 in Wuppertal, Germany.

CONTEMPORARY BALKAN ART WEEK LONDON 2009

For the 5th year in a row TERMINAL/00/ is staging a platform to
present, promote and discuss contemporary Balkan art, where both
emerging and already established artists from the Balkan region are
invited to display their works.



Visual Art Project collaboration

London based Choreographer Jean Abreu in association with Visual Artist John Gerrard is holding auditions to seek for a strong and expressive dancer ( male or female) to collaborate in a visual art piece involving motion capture system, animation, photography and choreography.



2008 International Dance Day Message

In 1982 the International Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute, UNESCO, created International Dance Day to be celebrated every year on the 29th April. The date commemorates the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727 – 1810), the creator of modern ballet.
